Why did we create this web site?  The answer is easy... we love to travel!
It hasn't always been this way.  My parents started with nothing and created a wonderful life.  Everything in life is a journey and we are hoping that even if this website helps one woman to take that step down the wanderlust highway it is all worth it.  BUT... I  digress... Where did we begin.  My mom and I have been through a lot.  

We didn't always have the means or the inclination to travel but baby steps grew into world travel and  if we can do it anyone can!  Our journey began on the sunny beaches of Hawaii when I was sixteen.  It was our first great girl trip and I have to say... mom picked a great one!  Now... stop rolling your eyes... she was there on business and I was there because they saved so I could go with her.  We are no trust fund family.

We have always worked very hard for what we have.  Hawaii... ahhhh... side note (this is also where I met my husband... yeah!)  Not only was it a fabulous gift then but I now look back and realize this is where great girl trips began.  Over the years we have been fortunate to suck in Grandma who now travels around the world (and I am not kidding... my almost 80 year old...  sorry Grandma I figured you wouldn't mind the whole age thing since you look awesome... has been to Antarctica, numerous safari's in Africa, Thailand, South America, Turkey, and on and on).  Now ask yourself this... If 3 woman from different generations and different economic backgrounds can find time to explore the world... why can't you?  You can!  And this is why we created this website... because we love to travel and to give you ideas... start small and see where the wind carries you on your next great girl trip!
